FTSE Group wants to demonstrate that in its everyday operations the company is committed to social and environmental responsibility. We do this by choosing to meet standards set and verified by a third party. We chose GoodCorporation, which is a global standard of corporate responsibility based on a set of core principles devised by the Institute of Business Ethics.
GoodCorporation accreditation is achieved by organisations that demonstrate that their practices towards employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, the environment and community meet the GoodCorporation standard. This involves an annual assessment by GoodCorporation.
FTSE has been audited and received GoodCorporation accreditation every year since 2002.
