FTSE NSE Kenya Index Series
Launched in November 2011, the FTSE NSE Kenya Index Series is designed to represent the performance of the Kenyan companies listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, providing investors with a comprehensive and complementary set of indices with which to measure the performance of the major industry and capital segments of the Kenyan stock market.
The FTSE NSE Kenya Index Series has been designed in accordance with industry best practise and on FTSE's experience of design characteristics which are attractive to a broad range of investors and intermediaries seeking to develop structured products based on indices. As such, the series represents a standard and transparent basis for investors to assess, measure and gain access to the Kenyan equity market.
