FTSE Private Banking Index Series
FTSE Group have partnered with Private Banking Index Ltd. to develop a unique set of indices for the private banking industry. The index series will provide a comprehensive, transparent and industry representative benchmark tool for the investment performance of multi asset class private portfolios. The index series went live on 7th February 2006.
The FTSE Private Banking Index Series provides:
- Private banks and their clients with the ability to measure and benchmark the absolute and relative investment performance of private portfolios
- A choice of 12 indices for a range of risk appetite and reference currencies
- An accurate representation of the market, determined by asset allocation input received from private banks, and actual market returns from underlying asset classes
- A basis for financial instruments and investment fund products
