Lyxor SmartIX ERC Equity Indices

The Lyxor SmartIX ERC Index Series aims to provide advanced forms of indexation, as an alternative to market capitalization-weighted indices. Index constituents are not weighted as a function of their market capitalization, but as a function of their contribution to the risk of the overall portfolio. The Equal Risk Contribution (ERC) methodology was designed by Lyxor Asset Management and the indices are calculated by FTSE.
