Following the expected transfer of Avesco PLC (UK) from the Official List to AIM, FTSE announces the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE All-Small	Avesco (UK 0065322) will be deleted.	24 December 2003
FTSE Fledgling	Avesco will be deleted.	24 December 2003
