Following the announcement regarding the auction by the UK Debt Management Office, FTSE announces the following changes to the FTSE Actuaries Gilts Indices:

0 3/4% Index-linked Treasury Gilt 2047 (Sedol B24FFM1 & ISIN GB00B24FFM16) with a nominal figure of £750mn will be added to the following sectors of the FTSE Actuaries Gilts Indices after the close of business on 20 November 2007 (i.e. with effect from start of trading on 21 November 2007).
