Following the announcement regarding the auction by the UK Debt Management Office, FTSE announces the following changes to the FTSE Actuaries UK Gilts Indices: 1 1/4% Index-linked Treasury Gilt 2032 (Sedol B3D4VD9, ISIN GB00B3D4VD98) with a nominal figure of £1,000mn will be added to the FTSE Actuaries UK Gilts Indices

• Index-linked Over 5 Years

• Index-linked Over 15 Years

• Index-linked 15 - 25 years

• Index-linked 5 - 25 years

• Index-linked Over 10 Years

after the close of business on 28 October 2008 (i.e. with effect from start of trading on 29 October 2008).
