Following the announcement regarding the auction by the UK Debt Management Office, FTSE announces the following changes to the FTSE Actuaries UK Gilts Indices:

1 3/4% Treasury Gilt 2017 (Sedol B3Z3K59 & ISIN GB00B3Z3K594) will increase from £14,712.520mn to £18,712.520mn after the close of business on 15 December 2011 (i.e. with effect from start of trading on 16 December 2011, using closing prices as at 15 December 2011).
