Following the unconditional cash offer for Hirotako Holdings (Malaysia constituent) by MBM Resources Bhd (Malaysia constituent) , and in accordance with Ground Rule 5.1.1, FTSE and Bursa Malaysia announce the following changes:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE Bursa Malaysia Small Cap Index	Hirotako Holdings (9644, 6428877) will be deleted from the index.	30 December 2011
FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index	Hirotako Holdings will be deleted from the index.	30 December 2011

Please note that where necessary all relevant changes will be simultaneously reflected within the corresponding FTSE Bursa Malaysia Indices.
