Changes In FTSE Indices

Further to the FTSE notice issued on the 28 December 2011, following the announcement regarding the post-auction option facility by the UK Debt Management Office, FTSE announces the following changes to the FTSE Actuaries UK Gilts Indices:

1 3/4% Treasury Gilt 2017 (Sedol B3Z3K59 & ISIN GB00B3Z3K594) will increase from £18,712.520mn to £22,837.156mn after the close of business on 4 January 2012 (i.e. with effect from start of trading on 5 January 2012, using closing prices as at 4 January 2012).
